COMPUTALA 2025
In January 2025 at LCB Depot we explored the Internet as an Art Form:
What does the internet mean to you? How does it shape the way we connect? Is it simply a tool or something more? This exhibition invited artists to explore these questions, using the web as a space and medium to examine connection, community, and the layered complexities of online interaction. Artists engaged with the internet as a subject and a framework, exploring browsers, connected hardware, and mobile devices to emake new works. Works included digital images, animations, interactive installations, soundscapes, and innovative uses of everyday tech, and offered new perspectives on what it means to connect and create in the digital age.
For the closing of the exhibition we invited Leonie Dubarry-Gurr to curate an edition of Ceremony. An electronic music avant guard night that for this evening turned the galery into a performance space.
