Artist Bootcamp Residencies

New Media Art Club’s artist bootcamp residencies are intensive, short-term programs designed to help artists rapidly develop their skills, ideas, and professional practices. Typically spanning a few days, these residencies offer structured workshops, mentorship, and collaborative projects, culminating in an exhibition.
These bootcamps are the core of NMAC's mission. It's important to us that artists not only develop creative tech skills but are also able to exhibit their work. The bootcamps differ from courses and workshops because of this factor.
Generally, we contact a practitioner whose work we admire, bring them to NMAC's CoLab for a few days to work with the residents, and everyone creates something to exhibit in a gallery.
Bootcamps are often linked to COMPUTALA in January, but we are working on ways to be able to offer them year-round.
