Downpour Games Workshop

Explore the fascinating history of fortune-telling games and devices while learning to create your own with Downpour, a user-friendly game-making tool. The workshop will include:

• A discussion on historical fortune-telling devices, from ancient examples to modern interpretations.

• A seminar-style session where we play and analyse indie games (including some Downpour games) about fortune-telling.

• An introduction to using Downpour.

• A hands-on creative session where you’ll design and build your own fortune-telling game or device, using craft materials and support from the instructor.

• A final showcase to share and discuss everyone’s creations.
