About the event

This is for attending the symposium online. A zoom link will be email the day before the event.

Join us on 10th January, 5-6pm, as we explore both the possibilities and ongoing challenges of creating inclusive digital spaces.

Explore the vital questions of digital accessibility at COMPUTALA's opening event at LCB Depot. This critical discussion challenges the assumption that the internet automatically creates connection and access, examining instead how creative practices can build genuinely inclusive digital spaces.

Through talks and discussion, leading artists and curators will share their approaches to embedding accessibility in digital creative work. Convened by PhD researcher and curator Jenny Gleadell, this event opens up important conversations about how we can collectively work toward a more accessible internet for creative practice.

Speakers are:

Christopher Samuel
